G&Ts in teapots at The Canary Gin Bar in Bath

After a busy day in the office, the Mollie Makes team can occasionally be found in a tiny gin bar, hidden down a cobbled street in Bath. The Canary is the home of Bath Gin Company, which features a winking Jane Austen on its label, and the bar is just as tongue-in-cheek.

Our favorite tipple is the Hendrick’s G&T served in a china teapot with sliced cucumber and cracked black pepper. A giant poster reads ‘DRINK MORE GIN’ and with over 100 to choose from and very knowledgable and friendly staff, I’ve often been tempted.

The blood red interior has nods to Victorian horror (it’s a little like a candlelit den), so it’s the perfect tonic if we’ve ever overdosed on the all-out prettiness of Mollie Makes!
